Prairie Press Seed Oils
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
Prairie Press is a small stone-and-steel mill on a family grain farm. We cold-press our own rapeseed and sunflower seed slowly so the oil never heats, then let it settle and bottle it unrefined, golden, and nutty. Nothing is deodorized or blended. The press cake goes back to feed the neighbor herd, so nothing is wasted. We sell through a regional veg-box scheme and from the farm.

Their story
The mill runs in the wide prairie skies of Manitoba, pressing fresh and cold. What grows depends on the weather and the time of year, as it should.
What makes it different: the land is farmed to rebuild the soil, not wear it down.
At Prairie Press Seed Oils, the press is run slow and clean by hand.
From the press to your kitchen while it is still bright and green.
